Science Research Internship Program
The SRIP is a 10-week virtual, fully remote, project-based research and certification program. Choose the track that fits your career goals (e.g. medicine, software engineering, business administration). Each pairs a preparatory academy with a research or engineering project, culminating in a final symposium presentation and official certification signed by faculty, physicians, and engineers from Harvard Engineering, Stanford Medicine, OpenAI, and more.
Track 1 of 3
Neuroscience Bibliometrics (NSB)
A research internship where students learn R programming, data visualization, and bibliometric analysis to explore global research trends in neuroscience, medicine, and public health, mentored by faculty and physicians from Harvard Engineering, Stanford Medicine, and USC School of Pharmacy.
Track 2 of 3
Computer & Software Engineering (CSE)
An engineering practicum where students learn Git, build a GitHub portfolio, and ship a real team-based software project, lectured and mentored by engineers from OpenAI, Google, and Duolingo. Interns finish the program with a final engineering software deliverable and an optional research poster.
Track 3 of 3
Business Data Analytics (BDA)
Students analyze economic datasets to answer business research questions, building skills in data visualization, statistical analysis, and evidence based decision making with Python, culminating in a final symposium and research poster mentored by faculty from Harvard and Stanford Business School.
